Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Legislative Analyst to advance federal advocacy priorities related to medical research, public health, and higher education.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate Congress and advocacy partners on policy priorities and develop advocacy materials
• Track, analyze, and summarize legislation and regulations, providing strategic recommendations
• Manage special projects and mentor legislative analysts within the organization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of related work experience in medical research or public health policy
• Experience working with elected officials at various government levels
• Proficiency in tracking and analyzing federal legislative and regulatory issues
• Strong organizational skills and ability to utilize relevant software
• Advanced degree may substitute for some experience
