Senior Liability Claims Examiner

Job Summary

As the senior point of contact for all liability claims, the full-time Senior Liability Claims Examiner will review, investigate, evaluate, and settle claims for bodily injury and property damages, managing high-value or escalated claims remotely while mentoring less experienced examiners.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and settle claims for bodily injury and property damages, managing costs through strategic negotiation
• Determine liability for claims and set reserve amounts, minimizing company exposure and ensuring alignment with severity
• Mentor less experienced claims examiners and manage the litigation process, including collaboration with defense counsel

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
• 8+ years of applicable experience in claims adjusting required; 3+ years with bodily injury and litigated claims preferred
• Relevant certifications such as Associate in Claims or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Experience in the transportation, logistics, and/or tech industry is a plus
