Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Professional Liability Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex medical malpractice claims, managing them through to resolution
• Negotiate claim settlements and coordinate legal defense while monitoring compliance with client guidelines
• Identify opportunities for cost containment and investigate potential fraud or recovery options

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Six years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience required
• In-depth knowledge of medical malpractice insurance principles and laws
• Licenses and professional certification as applicable to the line of business preferred
• Experience with cost containment principles and medical management practices
