Senior Liability Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter Liability based in Hamburg on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal accounts to meet top and bottom line targets
• Negotiate participation, pricing, and terms and conditions with brokers
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key brokers and clients

Required Qualifications

• Preferably a degree in Law, Business Administration, or Economics
• Significant experience in underwriting large corporate business in the Liability market in Germany
• Recognized relationships with brokers at peer group level, especially in Hamburg
• Fluency in German and English is required
• Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes is highly beneficial
