Job Summary
Managing complex life and accident claims, the full-time Senior Life Case Manager will work remotely to make timely decisions, document claims accurately, and provide empathetic customer service while mentoring new team members.
Key responsibilities
- Make accurate and customer-focused life and accident claim decisions using independent discretion and company guidelines
- Document claims comprehensively and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements while meeting operational metrics
- Provide genuine customer service, anticipating needs and fostering trust and confidence among claimants and employers
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Life industry claims
- Proficiency in product-specific areas of Life or Disability and knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations
- Strong familiarity with claim management concepts and medical terminology
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
