Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Senior Life Claims Specialist, this role will manage a caseload of Group Life insurance claims, serve as a subject matter expert, and contribute to process improvements while mentoring new team members.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Life claim practices and consult on best practices
- Manage a caseload of Group Life insurance claims from initial review through resolution
- Proactively identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- 5-7+ years of Life Insurance claims experience required
- Demonstrated expertise in investigating and adjudicating complex life insurance claims
- Strong knowledge of group life insurance policies and relevant regulatory requirements
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills, particularly in evaluating medical and financial documentation
