Senior Life Sciences Underwriter

Job Summary

Managing a profitable book of renewal business, the full-time Senior Life Sciences Underwriter will evaluate complex risks, make underwriting decisions, and develop relationships with producers, working in a hybrid or remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluates and conducts portfolio reviews for assigned territory and individual producers to ensure profitability and retention
• Examines and analyzes documentation to make informed underwriting decisions regarding renewal business within assigned authority
• Develops strong relationships with producers to achieve mutual goals and collaborates with various departments to enhance service delivery

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Life Science underwriting experience
• CPCU or AINS designation preferred
