Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Life Underwriter in Individual Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute decision making of individual life cases up to $5,000,000
Manage assigned work, develop agency relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction
Collaborate with reinsurers to negotiate risk classification for business exceeding mortality standards

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in individual life underwriting
Bachelor's degree
Industry related education (ALU, CLU, LOMA, etc.)
Knowledge of underwriting manuals, MIB reporting, and risk assessment vendor tools
Aptitude for risk assessment and collaboration
