Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Life Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex life insurance applications and determine eligibility for coverage
• Develop and maintain relationships with agents and other departments
• Provide mentorship and training to other life underwriters as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with five years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience
• Working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and email software
• Underwriting experience with in-depth knowledge of related business lines preferred
• Pursuit of industry designations such as ALMI, FLMI, FALU, or CLU is required
• Occasional travel may be required
