Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Life Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review individual life insurance applications and underwrite preferred through substandard risks within authorized limits of authority
• Communicate effectively with customers, agents, and agency staff to support swift handling of applications and deepen relationships
• Improve the platform and processes for customers and employees

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience
• 3-5 years of life insurance underwriting experience
• Progress towards completion of AALU and AMLI
• Thorough knowledge of underwriting principles, practices, and departmental procedures
• 5 years of life insurance underwriting experience
