Senior Linux Administrator

Job Summary

As the primary architect and subject matter expert, the full-time Senior Linux Administrator will migrate the monitoring infrastructure to Zabbix, design and manage a scalable monitoring solution, and provide Linux system support in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy a highly available Zabbix architecture to support a multi-tenant MSP environment
• Manage the migration of over 2000+ hosts and 10000+ services from a legacy monitoring environment to Zabbix
• Provide remote infrastructure support on Linux systems and automate deployments using scripting and configuration management tools

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure roles with significant enterprise monitoring experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Zabbix in a large-scale environment
• Strong command of Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS, Debian/Ubuntu)
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Shell for automation tasks
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or similar configuration management tools
