Senior Linux Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Linux Engineer for a remote contract-to-hire position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Linux systems and servers in production and development environments

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Linux Engineer or in a similar role
• Expertise in Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
