Senior Linux Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop operational tooling in Python, Ruby, or similar languages for API integrations and system orchestration
• Design and implement highly available, self-healing, scalable, and performant systems
• Create metrics, monitoring, visualizations, and alerting systems for infrastructure management

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or Engineer
• In-depth understanding of Linux fundamentals, including filesystems and process scheduling
• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP network protocols and addressing
• Significant experience developing operational tooling in Python, Ruby, or similar languages
• Experience with Configuration Management platforms such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
