Senior Linux Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Linux Vulnerability & Remediation Engineer on a contract basis, the role will focus on identifying and coordinating the remediation of vulnerabilities in Linux systems, particularly in RHEL environments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and recommending automation strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities within Linux operating systems, containers, and applications
• Coordinate remediation efforts with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of identified vulnerabilities
• Recommend and implement reusable automation solutions and AI-driven remediation strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong knowledge of RHEL 7 and RHEL 9 environments
• Proficient in Linux administration and troubleshooting
• Experience in vulnerability management and remediation coordination
• Familiarity with container technologies: Docker, Podman, Kubernetes
