Senior Linux Engineer
Job Summary
Building, automating, and maintaining a scalable and secure Linux infrastructure, the full-time Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer will develop operational tooling, design high-availability systems, and create monitoring solutions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop operational tooling in Python, Ruby, or similar languages for API integrations and system orchestration
- Design and implement highly available, self-healing, and performant systems with a focus on security
- Create comprehensive metrics, monitoring, and alerting systems for the infrastructure
Required qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or Engineer
- In-depth understanding of Linux fundamentals, including filesystems and process scheduling
- Strong knowledge of the TCP/IP network protocol and addressing
- Significant experience developing operational tooling in Python, Ruby, or similar languages
- Experience with Configuration Management platforms such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
