Job Summary
To support large-scale Linux-based infrastructure, the remote contract Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer will design, deploy, operate, and troubleshoot bare metal, enterprise storage, and AI factory environments, focusing on high-performance computing and GPU infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage bare metal server deployment and lifecycle management in large-scale environments
- Deploy and optimize GPU-accelerated infrastructure for AI/ML workloads, ensuring performance and reliability
- Administer advanced Linux storage solutions, including Ceph and high-performance AI storage platforms
Required Qualifications
- Expert-level Linux administration experience, particularly with Ubuntu and enterprise environments
- Proven experience with Bare Metal as a Service (BMaaS) and GPU infrastructure management
- Strong knowledge of advanced Linux storage technologies and architectures
- Hands-on experience with high-performance networking and data center operations
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation purposes
