Job Summary
Seeking a highly experienced Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to work remotely on a contract basis, this role focuses on designing, deploying, and troubleshooting large-scale Linux-based infrastructure, including bare metal and AI Factory environments, while managing enterprise storage and GPU infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement bare metal server architecture and lifecycle management for large-scale infrastructure
- Deploy and manage GPU-accelerated infrastructure for AI/ML workloads, ensuring performance optimization and resource allocation
- Administer advanced Linux storage solutions and high-performance data platforms, including Ceph and NVMe-over-Fabrics
Required Qualifications
- Expert-level Linux administration experience, particularly with Ubuntu, and familiarity with Red Hat and SUSE
- Deep expertise in bare metal infrastructure, including BMaaS platforms and high-performance storage
- Proficient in deploying and managing GPU infrastructure, with knowledge of NVIDIA technologies
- Strong networking knowledge, including VLANs, routing, and high-performance data center networking
- Experience with high availability, clustering, and disaster recovery in mission-critical environments
