Senior Linux System Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure optimized and secure hosting platforms, the full-time Senior Linux System Engineer will manage complex server and network issues, oversee Linux server administration, and develop automation scripts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the final escalation point for complex server, hosting, and network-related issues
• Manage, optimize, and secure Linux-based hosting environments and web servers
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for server provisioning and configuration management

Required qualifications

• 11+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience in a web hosting or cloud environment
• 7+ years of experience in a Senior position or Level 3 Engineer role
• Expert knowledge of KVM and Libvirt with a minimum of 7+ years of experience
• Strong scripting ability in Perl, Bash, and Python
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
