Job Summary

Supporting high-performance computing systems, the full-time Senior Linux Systems Administrator will manage system administration for ARL computers, advise on architectural tradeoffs, and develop software instrumentation, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support system administration for ARL high-performance computers
• Advise on architectural tradeoffs for future platforms and systems
• Develop and implement software instrumentation to measure system performance

Required qualifications

• BS or MS degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least 8 years of directly related experience in Linux and high-performance computing
• Linux+ certification (or equivalent) and Security+ certification (or equivalent)
• Active Top Secret security clearance
• Extensive background in diverse Linux operating systems and performance tuning
