Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the remote Senior Linux Systems Administrator will manage and optimize large-scale Ubuntu and Red Hat Linux server infrastructure, ensuring uptime, reliability, and security in production and development environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain Ubuntu and Red Hat Linux servers across production and staging environments
• Perform system upgrades, kernel updates, patch management, and troubleshoot hardware and network issues
• Implement user access, security policies, and maintain configuration management using tools like Ansible or Puppet

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration (Ubuntu & Red Hat)
• Strong command of Bash scripting and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, SSH, firewalls)
• Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies (VMware, Docker)
