Senior Linux Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Design Engineer (Linux) to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Linux systems across physical and virtualized environments
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline system administration tasks
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for performance assurance

Required Qualifications

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator in a production environment
• Expert-level proficiency in scripting with Python and Bash focused on system automation
• Proven experience with configuration management tools, preferably Ansible
• Experience conducting security and privacy assessments or audits
