Senior Linux Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support infrastructure modernization and cloud enablement, the contract-to-hire Sr. Linux Systems Engineer will manage enterprise data center operations, enhance AWS provisioning tools, and administer Linux-based systems while working remotely in the United States.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain enterprise data center infrastructure, including physical and virtual environments
- Support and enhance tooling for AWS infrastructure provisioning
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems in production environments
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of Systems Administration and/or Systems Engineering experience
- Strong experience managing Linux environments, preferably Ubuntu or Red Hat
- Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization technologies
- Experience supporting and administering NetApp storage environments
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and provisioning tools
