Senior Linux Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support a leading cloud networking and infrastructure technology organization, the remote Senior Linux Systems Engineer will manage large-scale Linux infrastructure, enhance automation tools for AWS deployments, and administer VMware environments.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and support large-scale Linux infrastructure across data center and cloud environments
- Maintain and enhance tooling for automating infrastructure deployments within AWS
- Administer and support VMware virtualization environments and manage enterprise storage platforms
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or related infrastructure roles
- Strong experience administering Linux environments, preferably Ubuntu
- Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization technologies
- Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and automation tooling
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience preferred
