Senior Linux Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support high-performance EDA compute farms, the full-time Senior Linux Systems Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade Linux environments while driving automation initiatives and building robust tooling in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, tune, and secure mission-critical Linux operating systems across production and non-production environments
• Lead infrastructure configuration management and continuous deployment workflows using Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible and Terraform
• Develop high-quality, maintainable code in Python, Bash, or Go to automate operational tasks and integrate infrastructure telemetry

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with RPM-based Linux distributions and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong background in automating multi-tier infrastructure configurations and managing centralized deployments
• Deep understanding of virtualization and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Bash, or Go) for automation and tooling
• Operational knowledge of networking fundamentals, including OSI layers and TCP socket states
