Job Summary
To support a client in the technology industry, the fully remote Senior Linux Systems Engineer will design and develop infrastructure tooling for AWS environments, administer large-scale Linux systems, and enhance virtualized infrastructure using VMware technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support infrastructure tooling for AWS-based environments
- Administer and optimize large-scale Linux systems across data center and cloud environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate infrastructure deployment and operational processes
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise Linux environments in systems engineering or infrastructure roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration, automation, and performance tuning
- Experience with VMware virtualization technologies and enterprise storage solutions like NetApp
- Exposure to Kubernetes and containerized environments
- Experience in developing or maintaining infrastructure automation and cloud provisioning solutions in AWS
