Senior Linux Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support infrastructure modernization and cloud enablement, the contract-to-hire Senior Linux Systems Engineer will manage enterprise data center operations, enhance AWS provisioning tooling, and administer Linux-based systems while working remotely in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise data center infrastructure, including both physical and virtual environments
- Support and enhance tooling for bootstrapping and provisioning infrastructure within AWS
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems in production environments
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of Systems Administration and/or Systems Engineering experience
- Strong experience managing Linux environments, preferably Ubuntu or Red Hat
- Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization technologies
- Experience supporting and administering NetApp storage environments
- Proven background in building and maintaining bare metal server infrastructure within data centers
