Senior Linux Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support infrastructure transformation and cloud adoption initiatives, the contract-to-hire Sr. Linux Systems Engineer will manage enterprise infrastructure, enhance tools for AWS deployment, and provide ongoing support for Linux-based production systems while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and support enterprise infrastructure across physical and virtualized data center environments
- Maintain and improve tooling for infrastructure provisioning and cloud integration within AWS
- Implement, manage, and support VMware virtualization technologies and NetApp storage platforms
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or a related infrastructure role
- Strong Linux administration experience, preferably with Ubuntu or similar distributions
- Hands-on experience managing VMware virtualization environments
- Experience supporting NetApp storage solutions in enterprise environments
- Proven ability to build, deploy, and maintain bare metal server infrastructure
