Senior Litigation Counsel

Job Summary

Owning Apollo's litigation portfolio, the full-time Senior Litigation Counsel will manage active disputes and regulatory inquiries while building litigation infrastructure and advising cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing Apollo's litigation portfolio, including disputes, pre-litigation demand letters, and regulatory inquiries
• Serving as the primary in-house contact with outside litigation counsel and controlling engagement costs
• Building and maintaining litigation infrastructure, including legal hold procedures and matter tracking

Required Qualifications:

• Significant litigation experience, preferably in-house, managing complex commercial, data, or employment disputes
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage outside counsel and maintain in-house ownership of key decisions
• Familiarity with litigation and data privacy matters, including consumer class actions and regulatory inquiries
• Strong business judgment with the ability to translate litigation risk into actionable recommendations
• J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
