Senior Litigation Paralegal
Job Summary
To support the in-house Legal Department, the full-time Senior Claims & Litigation Paralegal will manage U.S. transportation-related litigation and claims, working remotely while collaborating with in-house and outside counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support commercial-auto bodily injury, catastrophic-loss, property-damage, and transportation litigation/claims
- Coordinate immediate evidence preservation following significant accidents and prepare litigation chronologies
- Prepare first drafts of litigation documents and assist with discovery, document collection, and legal holds
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of litigation, claims, or senior paralegal experience, preferably in trucking/transportation litigation
- Experience with a motor carrier, insurer, TPA, self-insured transportation company, or transportation-defence law firm
- Strong U.S. litigation/discovery knowledge and legal drafting ability
- Familiarity with trucking evidence and FMCSA-related documentation
- Excellent docket/file management skills
