Senior Load Balancing Architect

Job Summary

Leading the architecture and evolution of enterprise load balancing and application delivery platforms, the full-time Senior Load Balancing Architect will ensure high availability, performance, and resiliency for mission-critical applications in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the architecture of load balancing and application delivery platforms across on-premises and cloud environments
• Act as the technical authority for Layer 4-7 traffic management, establishing standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver scalable solutions for complex production challenges

Required qualifications

• High School diploma with 5 years of relevant experience or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a leadership role
• 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 5 years in an architect-level role focused on load balancing
• Expert-level hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP, Citrix NetScaler, and VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer
• Strong expertise in Layer 4-7 protocols and global server load balancing
• F5 Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or equivalent advanced certifications preferred
