Senior Loan Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Loan Accountant to join their Loan Accounting function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and validate loan-level transactions for accuracy and completeness
• Partner with the Servicing team to resolve discrepancies and manage exceptions
• Oversee the end-to-end Taxes & Insurance (escrow) process, including reconciliations and reporting

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in loan accounting or related fields
• Experience with loan servicing systems and general ledger reconciliation
• Strong understanding of escrow accounting processes
• Advanced Excel skills required
