Senior Loan Processor

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Loan Processor will manage the processing of various loan programs, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with clients and third parties while adhering to company timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Process FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA, and other loan types, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance
• Accurately calculate income for diverse borrower profiles and verify all loan documents before submission to underwriting
• Maintain constant communication with customers and loan agents regarding loan status and coordinate closing processes

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience processing mortgage loans, with current experience in purchase loans
• Advanced knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and other loan programs, including compliance regulations
• Proficiency with Encompass or similar mortgage loan origination systems
• Strong ability to analyze complex tax returns and accurately calculate borrower income
• Demonstrated understanding of federal and state guidelines, including TRID
