Senior Loan Processor

Job Summary

To support a growing demand for mortgage processing, the full-time remote Senior Loan Processor will manage the processing of various loan programs, ensuring accurate documentation and effective communication with clients and third parties.

Key responsibilities

• Process FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA, and other loan programs, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
• Calculate income for borrowers and verify loan documents such as credit reports and appraisals
• Maintain communication with customers and loan agents regarding loan status and coordinate closing with relevant parties

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience processing mortgage loans, particularly purchase loans
• Proficiency in Encompass or similar mortgage loan origination systems
• Advanced knowledge of FHA, VA, and Conventional loan programs, as well as federal and state regulations
• Ability to analyze complex tax returns and calculate income for various borrower types
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
