Senior Loan Processor
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Loan Processor will manage the loan processing workflow, ensuring compliance with regulations, obtaining necessary documentation, and communicating with clients and loan officers throughout the underwriting process.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform thorough reviews of borrower's credit, employment, income, and assets before submission to underwriting
- Assemble complete loan packages and verify all required documentation for compliance with mortgage regulations
- Communicate with loan originators, customers, and underwriters to obtain necessary documentation and resolve any issues
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years' residential mortgage processing experience
- Working knowledge of RESPA regulations and general mortgage lending regulations
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Experience with Encompass software preferred
