Senior Localization Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance autonomous driving systems, the full-time Senior Localization and Planning Engineer will design and implement navigation systems, ensuring algorithm efficiency across diverse datasets, while writing high-quality C++ code and adhering to automotive safety standards in a remote or onsite capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement systems using standard navigation maps for lane-level navigation
- Ensure algorithms perform effectively across large-scale real-world and synthetic datasets
- Productize software for real-world deployment, following automotive quality and safety standards
Required qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related fields (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of proven experience in algorithm design
- Strong background in modern C++ programming with emphasis on RAII and exception safety
- Outstanding teamwork and communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Prior industrial experience with navigation maps or lane planning is a plus
