Senior Logistics Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Logistics Specialist for International Transportation Programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the shipment of hazardous and classified cargo related to weapons systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance
• Analyze shipments of high-value and classified assets to determine cost-effective transportation methods to international destinations
• Create and amend Transportation Plans for the delivery of classified materials and liaise with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with export/import laws

Required Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Secret or Interim Secret Security Clearance
• Master's Degree in a related discipline and over ten years of work experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience supporting DoD logistics, sustainment, and/or acquisition programs
• Strong knowledge of defense logistics processes and lifecycle management
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and advise senior government stakeholders
