Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reassessment Senior LTD Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an assigned caseload of moderately complex long-term disability claims, including reevaluations for additional earnings and fraud activity
  • Provide timely and accurate claims reviews, documentation, and decisions in accordance with regulations
  • Communicate proactively with claimants to gather essential information and document conversations accurately
Required Qualifications:
  • Some college education
  • 2+ years of experience in LTD/IDI insurance claims
  • Prior experience in independent judgment and decision-making
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of state leave laws, worker's compensation, ERISA, and Social Security is preferred
