Job Summary

Evaluating and managing a caseload of long-term disability claims, the full-time Senior Long-Term Disability Claims Specialist will deliver timely and accurate claim decisions and customer support in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Assess and process long-term disability insurance claims in accordance with plan provisions and regulatory requirements
  • Provide ongoing management and support for claimants throughout the claims process, including appeals
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance customer service and operational excellence
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Experience in claims processing or insurance, particularly in long-term disability
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to disability claims
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex claims
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
