Senior M365 Engineer

Job Summary

To support enterprise Microsoft environments, the remote contract-to-hire Senior M365 Engineer will manage complex incidents and problems, focusing on operations and support across M365, Azure, and Active Directory while ensuring proactive measures for system reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own incidents end-to-end, including triage, troubleshooting, and communication for critical issues
• Conduct supportability reviews for major M365 and Azure migrations, providing architecture and configuration guidance
• Lead patching and hotfix deployments, ensuring minimal downtime and safe rollouts

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Active Directory
• Strong incident management and escalation support skills
• Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive actions
• Experience in leading change management and platform support activities
• Technical documentation and knowledge management experience
