Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Applied Machine Learning Engineer, II.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CV researchers to optimize their code for reliability and performance at scale
• Profile and enhance performance-sensitive code for training and real-time inference
• Work with MLOps and backend engineers to develop platform capabilities based on research needs

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years on ML systems
• Experience with production ML systems using Python, PyTorch, Docker, and AWS
• Knowledge of data-intensive distributed systems, including I/O optimization and parallel processing
• Experience collaborating with researchers to transition prototypes into production systems
• Background in building internal libraries, tools, or platforms for engineering teams
