Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Machine Learning Engineer will develop and optimize production machine learning systems for content safety, leading the entire model lifecycle and enhancing multimodal detection methods.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize machine learning systems to identify sensitive content across various media formats
• Lead the lifecycle of model development, including data preparation, experimentation, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate safety needs into scalable technical solutions

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience building, deploying, and managing ML systems in production environments
• Proficiency with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and experience with multimodal models
• Strong knowledge of ML evaluation practices, including dataset design and accuracy metrics
• Ability to design scalable ML architectures balancing quality, reliability, and impact
• Commitment to responsible AI principles and awareness of bias and user impact considerations
