Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To contribute to impactful content safety systems, the remote contract Senior Machine Learning Engineer will develop and optimize production machine learning systems, lead model development lifecycles, and enhance multimodal detection methods.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize machine learning systems for identifying sensitive content across various media formats
• Lead the lifecycle of model development, including data preparation, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate safety needs into scalable technical solutions

Required qualifications:

• 5-6 years of experience in building, deploying, and managing machine learning systems in production
• Proficiency with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and experience with multimodal models
• Strong knowledge of ML evaluation practices, including dataset design and accuracy metrics
• Ability to design scalable ML architectures balancing quality and reliability
• Commitment to responsible AI principles and awareness of bias and user impact considerations
