Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative projects in the insurance technology space, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will build and deploy scalable ML models, perform exploratory data analysis, and translate client business problems into machine learning solutions, with the option to work remotely or from the New York office.

Key responsibilities

• Build ML models for production use and enhance model performance through new feature implementation
• Conduct in-depth exploratory data analysis to identify opportunities and issues in data for model design
• Translate client business problems into machine learning problems and write production-quality code

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist in scalable production environments
• Proficiency in data science and ML tech stacks, including sklearn, Keras/PyTorch, and Python
• Strong understanding of data analysis and modeling techniques
• Experience with model-serving pipelines and writing clean, efficient code
• Familiarity with tools such as Claude Code is a plus
