Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To support the growing use of machine learning in risk decisioning, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer will build and operate real-time inference services, manage model deployment infrastructure, and ensure observability for production ML models, working remotely or from specified locations in the U.S. and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate a real-time inference service for scoring models with low latency and high availability
• Own model deployment infrastructure, including CI/CD processes, performance checks, and staged rollouts
• Implement observability and monitoring for model performance, including drift detection and alerting

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, backend software engineering, or MLOps
• Production ML service experience in low-latency, high-availability environments
• Strong backend engineering skills in Python, with experience in API frameworks like FastAPI or Flask
• Familiarity with model deployment tooling, including registries, CI/CD, and versioning
• Experience in building observability and alerting for production services
