Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on query intelligence, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will develop and enhance machine learning models for search and recommendation systems, working remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful projects.

Key responsibilities

• Build and improve machine learning models for query understanding, including autocomplete and intent modeling
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and data scientists to identify business opportunities and refine model requirements
• Develop and operate machine learning pipelines at scale for both batch and real-time applications

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in applied Machine Learning, with an MS or PhD in relevant fields
• Strong programming skills in Scala, Python, Java, or C++ and data engineering expertise
• Deep understanding of machine learning best practices and algorithms, particularly in natural language processing
• Experience with technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Kubernetes
• Proven track record of building end-to-end machine learning models and applying large language models
