Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance risk management at a global crypto exchange, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will design, build, and deploy machine learning models for fraud detection and risk assessment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning models for various risk use cases, including fraud detection and transaction monitoring
• Manage production ML systems end-to-end, ensuring effective monitoring, retraining, and incident response
• Collaborate with risk strategy and operations teams to translate models into actionable risk mitigation controls

Required qualifications

• Significant experience in machine learning engineering or applied data science with a proven track record of deploying models to production
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, including supervised learning and anomaly detection
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering and familiarity with model explainability techniques
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying production LLM agents for operational workflows
