Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a fully remote team, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will own end-to-end solutions for automated component placement on printed circuit boards, focusing on research, prototyping, productionization, and maintenance using advanced machine learning techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Own problems from exploratory R&D through to production-hardened systems
• Develop and extend GPU-accelerated code using PyTorch and CUDA C++
• Contribute to technical direction and research strategy alongside senior teammates

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in machine learning, optimization, or a related field
• Strong fundamentals in machine learning and optimization
• Production experience with PyTorch
• Demonstrated ability to work across research and production codebases
• Comfort operating with high autonomy in ambiguous problem spaces
