Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of an Interactive Learning system, the fully remote Senior Machine Learning Engineer will lead the evolution of a personalized recommendation system, build and operate models, and partner with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Evolve the Interactive Learning Plugin's recommendation system through personalized approaches to candidate selection and recommendations
• Build and operate applied models, including model training, validation, and monitoring
• Define and measure recommendation quality using various performance metrics and integrate improvements incrementally

Required qualifications

• Experience in building recommendation, ranking, or next-best-action systems
• Proficiency in distributed systems, including HTTP/gRPC and programming languages such as Go or TypeScript
• Demonstrated ownership of applied models in a product or operational environment
• Strong product thinking and ability to translate complex objectives into actionable experiments
• Familiarity with open source software and transparent development practices
