Job Summary

Owning high-value optimization initiatives, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will work remotely to enhance model training and inference efficiency for Ads ML workloads, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage optimization initiatives across training, inference, and launch-readiness for Ads ML workloads
• Diagnose production system bottlenecks using profiling, benchmarking, and observability tools
• Build performance tooling and optimization playbooks to enhance efficiency across multiple teams

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience with ML systems in production environments
• Hands-on experience in improving training or serving efficiency with measurable outcomes
• Strong technical judgment in model-level, runtime-level, and infrastructure-level optimizations
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across teams
• Good instincts for customer needs and platform maintainability
