Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the full lifecycle of machine learning systems, the fully remote Senior Machine Learning Engineer will design and implement training pipelines, fine-tune large language models, and optimize inference for AI-native communications products in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end ML training pipelines from data ingestion to model deployment
• Fine-tune large language models and apply reinforcement learning techniques for model alignment
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate ML systems into product features while ensuring models are maintainable in production

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or statistics
• 3-8+ years of hands-on ML engineering experience with a strong production track record
• Deep understanding of core ML concepts and experience fine-tuning large language models
• Hands-on experience with reinforcement learning-based alignment techniques
• Familiarity with major inference vendors and cloud AI APIs
